Phukettiin matkattiin lautalla Koh Lantalta Koh Phi Phin edustalle, jossa lauttaa vaihdettiin keskellä merta... Suomalainen Phuketissa opiskeleva kaverini nappasi mut kyytiin satamasta, ensimmäinen kerta skootterin kyydissä!
// I travelled to Phuket by ferry from Koh Lanta and had to switch to another ferry in front of Koh Phi Phi, in the middle of the sea... My Finnish friend who is studying in Phuket picked me up from the pier, first time on a moped in Thailand!
Lähdettiin ajamaan Big Buddhaa katsomaan kun keskellä matkaa mäen rinteellä skootterin takakumi puhkesi.. Eipä paskempi paikka odotella apua ;) Paikalliset ihmiset ovat niin mukavia ja aina valmiita auttamaan. Tilattiin odotellessa jätskiä ja saatiin lohdukkeeksi upeasti koristellut vesidrinksut!
// We started to drive up a hill to see the Big Buddha, when all of a sudden we had a flat tire... Not the shittiest place to wait for help ;) The local people are so nice and always ready to help. While we were waiting for assistance with our moped, we ordered some ice cream and received these water drinks with amazing decorations!
Vihdoin päästiin Big Buddhalle seuraavana aamuna! Temppelialueella ollessa saatiin tietenkin päällemme muodikkaat olkapäät ja polvet peittävät asusteet... Näköalat huipulta olivat kuitenkin upeat!
// The next morning we finally made it to the Big Buddha! At the temple area we of course received fashionable accessories that covered our knees and shoulders... The views from the top, however, were spectacular!
Todistusaineistoa, että mäkin ajoin ekaa kertaa ulkomailla skootteria ja vielä vasemmanpuoleisessa liikenteessä!
