Northern Vietnam Part I - Sapa

Tervetuloa pohjoiseen! Tulipa kotoinen olo kun ulkona oli alhaimmillaan 9 astetta lämmintä. Aikamoinen shokkiero Hanoin plus kahteenviiteen. Ihana paikka vuorien keskellä!

// Welcome to the north! It made me feel like at home when I walked outside and it was 9 degrees celcius. Quite the difference to the 25 degrees in Hanoi.. A lovely little town in the mountains!

Suomen itsenäistyyspäivänä vuokrattiin mopot ja ajeltiin pitkin lähialueita. Tässä päivän jengi ja upeat maisemat! Illalla bongattiin myös kylpylä jossa pääsin suomalaiseen saunaan! Ei valittamista ;)

// On the Finnish Independence Day we rented motorbikes and drove around the area. Here is the gang of the day and the gorgeous views! In the evening we went to a spa with a Finnish sauna! No complaints there ;)

Hanoi and Halong Bay

Tässä tunnelmia ensimmäisen viikon ajalta Vietnamin pääkaupungista Hanoista. Kaupunki täynnä energiaa, ihmisiä ja moottoripyöriä!

Halong Bay

Suomitytöt sattumalta samalla laivalla! Alussa oli aika takeltelua puhua pitkästä aikaa suomeksi...

Tervetuloa Freedom saarelle, jossa kaksi rantaa kummallakin puolella taloa. Pieni hetki paratiisissa.

Halong Bay reissun porukkamme vietti vielä jatkoiltaa päästyämme takaisin Hanoihin.

Viikon seikkailu Pohjois-Vietnamissa ja juuri lauantaiksi takaisin Hanoihin, jolloin vuorossa oli lisää ilmaisia tatuointeja hostellilla.. Pohjoisen seikkailusta lisää ensi kerralla!

Vang Vieng and Vientiane

Luang Prabangista matka jatkui bussilla vuorien läpi Vang Viengiin.

// From Luang Prabang we continued through the mountains to Vang Vieng.

Kaksi päivää tubetusta joessa, baarista baariin uimarenkaalla.

Tervetuloa Vientianeen, Laosin pääkaupunkiin! 

// Welcome to Vientiane, the capital city of Laos!

Kaupunki oli täynnä ranskalaisvaikutteita, esim tässä Pariisin Arc de Triomphen kaksonen, Patuxay.

// You could spot the French influences throughout the city. Here, for example, is the Patuxay, the twin of Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

Buddhapuisto Vientianen ulkopuolella, jossa oli satoja Buddhapatsaita. Viimeinen päivä näiden ihanien matkaseuralaisten kanssa. Seuraava pysäkki Hanoi, Vietnam!
